  • An intermediate marsh in Aso Kuju National Park.It has the largest area in Japan and is home to valuable marsh plants such as sphagnum moss and sphagnum moss.

Let's climb the Kuju mountain range!

  • This facility is located in Aso Kuju National Park and is convenient for climbing the Kuju mountain range.
    It is accessible by car or on foot to the representative trailheads of Chojabaru Trailhead and Makinoto Pass.
    You can stay the day before the mountain climbing and climb early in the morning, or you can enjoy the hot springs after the mountain climbing!

    Beginning with the Miyama Kirishima season in June when the mountains are dyed pink, it is crowded with many campers from October to November, and it is a base for climbing the Kuju mountain range, connecting to Mt. Kuzumi and Mt. Taisen. ..

    The summit of Mt. Kuzumi is covered with rocks, and you can see a 360-degree view. If you have a good view, you can see famous peaks such as Mt. Aso and Mt. Sobo.
